Last week I got the chance to shoot some engagement photos for our dear friends Craig and Carol; I was super excited about this opportunity for 2 reasons A) these two are just a great couple, and I can sincerely say I can't wait to see them get married, and B) the Alberta countryside has been unreal these last few weeks, so it was an easy location choice for this sweet couple!! Another Friday is here again, and I sit here and wonder where have all the days gone?? They are melting away right before my eyes. How is it July 18th???? I am in awe.... is summer really almost half over??? These are questions I ask myself almost every other day right before I go to bed. I can't tell you how many times I have been told, 'time goes by faster as you get older' and its true! I remember being a kid and thinking time went by at a snails pace....now I can't keep track of the days in the week.... only Friday, I always know when it is Friday!!
I hope this weekend doesn't pass by too quickly for you.... or me for that matter!

Last weekend was spent enjoying the lake with the family... the weekend started with the three of us ladies and the little men, we did some kayaking and played in the water in front of the cottage! The boys love being at the lake, and when the sun is shining there is no better place to be!!
Curtis and my dad joined us on Friday and Saturday night (Ryan was hanging with his buddies this weekend, floating the Pembina River and golfing); we bar-be-cued, boated and finished it all off with some delicious ice cream.... the only thing missing was the hubby!
...the boys drew a crowd when the ice cream came out!
I am hoping this weekend will be a similar adventure to last weekend... the weather is supposed to be upwards of 30 degrees Celsius!!! Yippee!!
We are packing our bags and heading out as soon as work is finished!!
